I must say that my days are getting closer to Haiti and I’m excited and nervous. Today I saw on someone’s Facebook page that there are less than 100 days until Christmas. However, before we get to Thanksgiving, I will have been to Haiti and back.

 

Prayers are being answered and the support has been overwhelming. I’m so sure this will be an event that will change my life. Oh, I think of all the things to be concerned about like what to pack, and how the weather will be, and then remember that I have committed all of that to prayer and others are praying for me as well. So I press on.

Haiti, the Mission of 2015

This year I will travel to Haiti with my brother’s mission team AARAMA. It will be a journey of trust that God will use me.

 

In March, the email invitation came and I didn’t delete it. I just kept thinking about it. When I visited Baltimore the 31^st of May, I was pressed to ask my husband if I could go. His rousing support (mind you, rousing for Jim is a simple, “Okay.”)

 

I started my prayer support letter and even though the details have yet to be worked out, I’m confident this trip is for me. I’m excited about what God will do.
